Spa Medica are specialists in delivering high-quality cataract surgery, putting people first with timely expert care.
We’ve built a strong partnership with SpaMedica, having carried out 14 different projects around the country for them since 2018.
The Vision
SpaMedica needed us to fit out their entire suite, inline with a design which streamlined the patient’s journey during treatment. During the project, we had to be efficient and practical, adhering to healthcare requirements outlined by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), to get sign-off on the project.
The Change
True to the original design, each room was built from scratch.

We also installed bespoke air conditioning and F7 filtration systems, which carried out 25 air changes in the theatre and 15 air changes in the Treatment room. This was to adhere to the HTM-03-01, which provides guidance on the ventilation of healthcare systems.
The Achievement
We completed the fit out on time in 11 weeks, mobilising to site just two weeks following the receipt of our order.
The new SpaMedica suite is built exactly to their vision, which puts their patients first. Practical systems and a new hygiene-focused space allow SpaMedica to support their patients with every step of their journey.
